For toddlers, ages one to five

A toddler memory book that keeps going after the first birthday.

Our Little World finds your toddler in the photos already on your iPhone, from the day they were born, and lays out their life by age. Mark a first word or first steps, and record what they said in a voice note on the photo. You can start at two or three, because the photos are already on your phone.

Why it’s harder than it should be

The first year got the attention

You kept up with every month of the first year. The second and third went by in the camera roll.

The words change every few weeks

The way they said “banana” in March is gone by May, and nobody wrote it down.

The camera roll grew with them

There are years of photos now, and finding them at 18 months means scrolling past everything since.

What Our Little World does

What Our Little World keeps from the toddler years

Starts from their birthday

Sorting starts from the day they were born, so the photos you took before you started can land in their space too. Where you haven’t confirmed a face, Growing up shows the app’s best photo of your child marked Picked by the app, and asks you when it isn’t sure.

A page a month, then a page a year

Growing up shows one portrait for each month of their first two years, then one for each year of age. Press play and watch them grow in a few seconds.

First words and first steps

Mark a first word or first steps alongside the photos from that day. Tap the mic on any photo and say what they were saying, in your own voice.

Before you begin

Questions parents ask

My child is already three. Is it too late to start?

No. Add them with their birthday, confirm their face from a few photos, and the app looks back through the photos already on your iPhone. Photos from the years before you started can land in their space, sorted by age.

Why does Growing up change to a page a year at age two?

Without it, a ten-year-old would have more than 120 month pages. Growing up shows a page for each month until their second birthday, then one for each year of age. You can choose a different photo for a page.

Will it still recognize them as their face changes?

You confirm their face from a few photos, and the app learns their face as they grow. When it isn’t sure about a photo, it asks you before sorting it.
