Photo, Story, Journal, Growing up and Tonight on iPhone Duo

Recorded in the iPhone Duo simulator using the native development app and the founder's approved family photos.

The founder's own words are saved to a photo's Story, found in Journal and reopened with the photo. The recording also compares selected newborn and seven-month portraits, shows Home with the Growing up row, and ends on Tonight in the tabletop layout.

About this recording

The note was supplied by the founder and entered on their behalf for this recording. This 48-second film was recorded in the iPhone Duo simulator using the native development app and the founder's approved family photos. The narration is a synthetic voice (ElevenLabs) reading a script the founder approved; the captions carry the narration. It previews ongoing Duo refinements; typing is condensed, and the closing frame is a still composition of the saved Story on the device.

0:00-0:07: The film opens on a selected family photo at 11 months, then the facing Story page opens beside it. 0:07-0:12: Words supplied by the founder are entered in the native editor. Typing is condensed. Done is pressed and the words are saved with the photograph. The founder's complete note reads: “This immediately became one of our absolute favorite photos of Reuben. It was taken during a very hard time in our lives, after my father’s recent passing. What it is: Our Little World is a private baby book app for iPhone and iPad, made by Our Little World, LLC.
What it does: It helps parents find their child in the photos and videos already on their iPhone, bring both parents' photos together, and enjoy them month by month. Parents can add words, voice notes and letters, then return to a few moments in Tonight.
Platforms: iPhone and iPad. There is no Android or web app.
Price: Free to download, with Family and Family Plus subscriptions. U.S. pricing (USD): Family is $7.99 a month or $69.99 a year. Family Plus is $11.99 a month or $99.99 a year. Eligible new subscribers can try monthly plans free for 7 days or yearly plans for 14 days. Billed through the App Store.
